LOCAL PROVISIONS MARKET & CAFE
BACKGROUND
Local Provisions is a family owned and operated Market + Café located in the heart of Fox Chapel. They offer seasonal produce, specialty grocery and a café serving casual fare daily.

GOAL
To be known as “Elevated convenience for the local community. A place in our neighborhood that connects the city’s best chefs and food purveyors with our neighbors, friends and families.”

STRATEGY
To position Local Provisions as a premier, fresh, and convenient market and café. And a place for Chef Brian’s award winning food, being served in an approachable way. All brand development and execution is designed to reach their ideal customers on all touch points through user persona research. Our work included brand strategy, brand identity, brand marketing rollout & website. Plus, we created a brand user guide for consistency throughout all channels of communication.

EXECUTION
The brand identity evokes a luxury feel throughout the visuals and messaging with a splash of playfulness. The color palette is a combination of rich navy and gold to brighter whites and pinks for the lighter, fun side. We helped develop an elevated, yet approachable, clever and lively personality. The logo is a strong typographic design with a bold serif font as well as a script font for visual balance. We created 3 sub marks that compliment the main logo and serve as a market "stamped" look for visual support. The company also includes the LP Catering division of the business, we designed this logo to stay in the family feel of the logo marks and directly related to the main Local Provisions logo. The vibe is upscale and energy-filled to resonate with their target audience.
